Fantastic shoes!
I have just bought these shoes and I love them. They are a really good looking pair of trainers in mostly black suede leather and a nice touch is that they have very small sparkly dots at each lace hole.( Very subtle though) They come with white laces installed and you get a pair of black ones tucked inside the shoes.

They are a really good fit. I normally take a six but have noticed that with cheaper trainers I have sometimes been having to take a 7 but these size sixes fit me perfectly. No heel rubbing right from the beginning. Excellent!

They are really easy to walk with and you don’t feel at all wobbly..it just feels natural. My legs definitely feel more tired after walking in them, just as if you had been walking in sand but you don’t have that slow motion effect that you get if you are really walking in sand.

I have been walking my dogs 2-3 times a day in them and I do feel more tired in the evening and sleeping well. I have not had any muscle aches and pains but am very used to walking and have built the time up which it recommends in the booklet.

Finally, the best thing is that these shoes give me an extra two inches in height which is terrific for a 5′4″ shortie. I am walking tall and feel good in these shoes. They remind me a bit of my old cork soled platform heels which I wore in the 70s.

I don’t know if I will lose any weight but the fact I seem to be expending more energy makes me think that I may well do.

Would thoroughly recommend.

Worth it
I’ve been using these shoes for the last 4 weeks and they’ve been a god-send! I have really weak knees and they’ve helped me to start walking long distances- up to an hour and a half a day to and from work. I’m now much more conscious of how and where to balance my weight which in turn has made running so much easier. I think that at this rate, I’ll be able to run my first 10km race by the end of the summer-because of my knee issues I last ran a 10km race in 2006. These shoes are also great for doing lower body exercises that would normally butcher my knees- like squats and lunges. My only issue with these shoes is (a)they provide nominal support for the ankles (b)they are quite heavy- heavier than the MBTs. On the plus side- they’re half the price of MBTs and (only a little) less ugly!

Fab!
I couldn’t wait for them to arrive & I wasn’t disappointed! They look great in black suede & the bulky sole is not that obvious. I was a bit apprehensive wearing them out for the first time on the school run but no one commented so they can’t have looked odd! They are incredibly comfy! I bought a size 5 (I can be a 5 1/2 or even 6 in fashion shoes) and they fit like a glove! The extra height in the heel instantly made my legs look longer & slimmer so that alone was worth the £80! I walk alot anyway and generally at quite a pace. I didn’t notice any immediate muscle ache etc. but after a while I definitely felt something in the buttocks! I found them instantly easy to walk in. I recently had an operation on my knee and I feel less strain in that area when wearing the Shape Ups. I also feel less strain in my feet after a long walk which used to ache using my usual trainers. Would thoroughly recommend!!

Green Wellies
Boots are fine but feel they are not quite long enough and a bit loose around the calf. Buckle doesn’t really tighten enough.Not quite Hunters!

excellent wellies
excellent wellies, made by hunters I believe but only half the price and from personal experience they last a lot longer as well, the tread wore off my hunters within a month or two and they were twice the price! I use these for walking my dog on a daily basis and they last well.

wellington boots
Have read the reviews from other customers. I find these Boots Good Value for Money So far so good they don,t let in water and the Inner Lining is all intact . I did go for a larger size to Accomodate the thick Welli Boot Socks I find them very comfortable to wear and they are in constant use .

I love them!
These are a fantastic pair of boots, very durable and comfortable and look very trendy as well. A nice feature is that the laces can be “unhinged” which can make it much less of a struggle to take them off at the end of the day. If only they were a little bit cheaper I would be ready to buy another set with a slightly different colour!

These Cats are good, but perhaps not as good as they used to be.
I have been a Caterpillar aficionado for many years. What I particularly like about the Colorado boot is the good looks that go well with almost any outfit, the versatility and durability of the boot, the high quality of materials used, the close attention to detail, and last, but not least, the reasonable price tag.

I already have two pairs of Cat Colorados in different colors. I have had both pairs for a few years now and they have been easy to maintain and they still look like new. Recently, I decided to buy a new pair in a dark brown color just to get another option to wear. I ordered a pair in the “dark chocolate” color. I was however, surprised to find that there is a considerable color variation in relation to the pictures provided by Amazon. The dark chocolate color in reality looks more like a regular to light brown.

The first thing that struck me about these new boots is how light they are. In fact, they turn out to be about 250 grams lighter than my older ones. While less weight to carry around on your feet may sound like a good thing, in this case, the lighter weight has been achieved by reducing the thickness of the upper leather, the thickness of the rubber sole and the padding in the collar around the ankles. A closer inspection of the workmanship clearly reveals that these boots have not been built with the same care and attention to detail as my older ones. This suggests they will, in all likelihood, wear out faster. On the positive side these boots are surprisingly comfortable to wear. They are softer than my older Cats and they will require less breaking in which is a good thing.

I was very pleased to find that the size fit. However, for some reason these Colorados are almost half a size smaller than my older boots. This means that I will not be able to wear them with thicker socks during winter. It seems that my older boots have been made in Taiwan while the new ones have been made in Vietnam. Maybe the variation in color, size and quality can be explained by the different countries of manufacture? In any case, if you have an older pair of Colorados made in Taiwan and decide to order a new pair of the same size online I would suggest you first try the new version of the boot out in a shop to make sure the size will fit.

All in all I am very happy with the purchase. The Amazon service was quick and reliable and the boots are both very comfortable and good looking. However, I can’t help getting the impression that these new Cat Colorados are cheaper, less durable and of a poorer quality than my older boots. Don’t get me wrong, these Cats are still good, but perhaps not as good as they used to be.

Great Boots … at last!
I ordered the boots at the beginning of February, I had wanted them because of the cold weather as I know Cat boots are excellent for winter conditions (I’ve had a couple of pairs before). So six weeks later and I finally get an email saying they have been dispatched. Good news.

The wait was well worth it as I’ve made a massive saving compared to the high street value. And! as expected the boots are excellent, I have the ‘cashew’ colour/finish – the leather is superb. They are very comfortable with very good ankle support. Really very good value for money!

WATCH THE SIZING!!
A retro classic from the one and only Adidas trainer range which are as popular now as they were back then. The sizing is a little different with Adidas I always find I need to go up half a size or a full size so just remember that when ordering.

Excellent but beware of sizing
Loved the look of these shoes so didn’t hesitate to buy them… Bargain! Comfy and stylish. Excellent pair of trainers.

All I can say is buy at least half a size up from usual. I bought my usual size 9, but they were a really tight fit and had to send them back (extra charges) for a size 10 pair.

Cool trainers
These trainers take me back to my youth ,however i didnt take the advice of previous reveiws and opted for my regular size 9 which was a mistake,you need to get a size bigger,struggling to break them in,but they are cool.

Fantastic Snow Boots
These boots are great and do exactly what you would expect or hope for. They arrived quickly and have been in almost constant use ever since. They are a snug fit to begin with but soften a little through use although they retain their shape well. They are comfortable, warm, dry and not too heavy. Would happily recommend them to anyone.

Let it snow!
These boots are fantastic – stylish, warm, waterproof, snow proof, great grip from the thick tread soles, yet within a week or two of wearing them the initial stiffness had softened to leave them very comfortable. I bought the same size I wear for normal shoes, and although I possibly couldn’t wear a really thick pair of socks with them, they’re warm enough not to need it. If you like to wear a thick pair of socks in the cold, maybe think of buying the next size up.

Curse of the snow boot
I purchased these boots in order to get through the snow on the way to work; sod’s law the snow disappeared as soon as they arrived. However, I can say that they are really nice quality and have some chunky soles on them for grip. I may have to wait until the winter comes round again, but this time I will be ready!

Dry feet are comfortable feet

Keeps your feet dry
I’ve been wearing these across sand and water and they keep my toes dry which is what I wanted. They feel heavy, but are ok to drive in. Mine are wearing fast on the sole so they must be soft rubber meant for grass rather than streets. I don’t like the lack of grip in supermarkets and hospitals where I seem to skate when its damp. I wish I could tie them up tighter as they feel a little loose on my feet.

Comfortable but …..
The soles wear out far too quickly. I bought my pair in the shops a couple of months ago and have walked every day since for an hour a day. The soles have already worn appreciably and I don’t anticipate being able to use them for too much longer. It all goes to prove that you get what you pay for. I suggest that you avoid these unless you only use them very sparingly.

On the positive side, they are comfortable and waterproof. But for me that does not compensate for the poor quality of the sole.

i agree with the review on site already that these shoe soles wear out very rapidly as i have walked about forty miles since i got them and i doubt if i will be able to walk another forty miles before i am walking in my bare feet

Great Fun
Bought a pair each for my 5 and 7yr old daughters, with carefull supervision, they have mastered them, with great balance, posture and turning skills, they are now imitating the dances from the dancing on ice programme. They love them, and it gives us great joy watching them having so much fun! Another great buy and great price from Amazon Thankyou.

great item
my 7 year old daughter got these for xmas, she loves them, was a bit unsteady at first but got the hang of them fairly quickly now she uses them all the time. they are good for younger kids and beginners as they have 2 wheels in the heel instead of the usual 1 so are easier to use. only problem is they dont come with the wheel removing tool, and being white they get dirty easy. buy a size bigger than your childs normal shoe size as they are quite small made.

I am 9 years old ( 10 in september) an i am writing this review to show how much I love heelelys! They are really fun to skate around in (especially down banks!). They are pefectly safe (no need for helmets, knee pads etc).
They are the best shoes ever and would certainly reccomend them!
